Despite having only 1 road leading away from the castle into the distance (it could have, of course, led to a one-way portal as well), I decided to play it out, since 16 archers showed up. In the end, I didn't regret it: on the respawn, an easy Dragon's Flame for 25 mummies, there's a Vial of Life for a horde of fish, I dug up a Monolith as support for the level 5 units. Horses were built in the Castle, I dove into the underground and there it was +2 Speed for a stack of Medusas, a Dragon Utopia, a Griffin Conservatory, a box for a horde of Ogres. In general, everything looked very promising, but on day 117 a capitulation follows.
