Very little money at the start, but there were Elves from the starting and purchased hero. In the first week, I could only build Elves; there wasn't enough money for anything else. But on the 5th day, Solmyr appeared, and the adjacent zone turned out to be a Dungeon with stables and a knowledge bonus under the castle. I was one day short of building 4 growth markers, but even without them, I had enough to win.
