Wulfsten's Challenge - "Laslo" [Campaign 2, Mission 5]

You need to dig up the Tear as quickly as possible – the sooner you do it, the more troops you’ll have. I defeated Laslo in a rather original way. I spent some time running around his territory and capturing his mines. I had a large army, and Laslo didn't dare attack me – although I couldn't defeat him in an open field. When I captured the southeastern castle, Laslo holed up in the southwestern one and refused to leave. When I tried to take the castle, I was torn to shreds by gnome runes. Then I went back to my city and stayed there for a couple of weeks. All this time, Laslo didn't leave the castle! When I returned, I outnumbered Laslo's army (I had a hundred Tanners and fifty Lava Dragons).
