Opp took 2 rests; in the 3rd game I got Dungeon and opp got Tower, I decided not to rest, spread into 3 heroes, found 2 Griffin Conservatories and 2 external dwellings of levels 3 and 4. Through a portal I gathered on 113, 21 Evil Eyes, cleared everything possible. In the treasure zone there were 120 Hell Hounds, on 122 I cleared with 1 Angel, 45 Evil Eyes, and meat. From TU I went straight to the super treasure zone where I took a couple of Pandemoniums and 6 Dragon Fly Hives, on 131 opp appeared from the portal, I went straight to him, he attacked, but 32 ducks decided it...
Thanks for the game!
I restarted all my restarts and got Tower with no normal mages at all. With two external dwellings of Gargoyles, one behind Skeletons, the other behind Lizardmen. The respawn was tight and poor. So I quickly exit to the second respawn and clear it too. In the first week, only Gargoyles, Golems, and Gremlins in the Citadel. In the second week, I clear one of the treasure zones, but it’s empty except for a hat of +4 Knowledge and a Bow, I break through and clear the third respawn with a Castle. In the end, I make Galthran, break through to the opponent, and he comes out of the treasure zone having gathered Dragon Fly Hives there. Since I didn’t come across a single Dragon Fly Hive on the larger half of the map I cleared, and there was only one Griffin Conservatory and it was the big one, there was essentially nothing to hit Wyverns with... Before the final fight I took a Pandora’s box and it gave me Fairies(((
Galthran came in late — so he was trained rather weakly. There was also a mage, but he trained Knowledge mostly instead of Spell Power...
In short, the balance is as always “Imbalance.” All my tempo went to waste, since all the respawns were lousy. If I had known the opponent had a super treasure zone nearby (right under his nose) and he was clearing it — I would have surrendered immediately. But instead, I wasted a bunch of time on tempo... Captured 4 towns, cleared one treasure zone, and nearly reached another respawn after breaking through to it. When one player gets a super treasure zone handed to them nearby and the other has to run far to reach it, the game’s outcome suggests itself)
If I survive in the tournament until the next game on balance, I don’t know if I’ll play it — it killed me morally :smile30: :smile50:
Well, the opponent did well — slowly but surely gathered Dragon Fly Hives and Wyverns with artifacts and won the game)))))
In any case, thanks for the game and good luck to the opponent in the tournament!
