I have a question. Why was this so-called event elevated to the status of "Important"? How does it relate to Heroes in any way (and, as practice shows, not always to fishing either...)?

It actually has a direct connection to Heroes! At such weekend events, Heroes players relax and make decisions regarding Heroes-related activities.)
