Restarted with my opponent. In the end, he got a dungeon, and I got a swamp. There were no mages at all except Verdish, so I had to play her. Although there were plenty of good warriors. On the respawn, there were several mills and one water mill + an external dwelling of lizards. But gold was scarce, so instead of clearing the respawn, I quickly went to the secondary, where I barely scraped together gold for a stronghold and wyverns. There I also took a Pandora's box for 5k experience, leveled Expert Fire Magic, and the shooter began dealing 110 damage. That's when, with no economy but with magic, I started to tempo: I captured the gold and crystal mines, took a third castle, and when I broke through the GO to my opponent's secondary, I returned briefly to replenish some mana, since I only had 50 before the battle, and then rushed to the secondary. Eventually, I caught Dessa on the run with a lich, but Dessa escaped. So I sped up with upgraded tier 1 flies (since I saw the opponent's army at the obelisk near Dessa and knew I outsped everyone). Essentially, after building the 2nd guild and getting the Air Arrow, which dealt 230 damage, I didn't really need an army — magic was enough. As for buildings, I built almost nothing after the first week except serpent flies, but the tempo of leveling and the 2nd guild allowed me to outpace the opponent. Two days later, I finished the opponent in their castle. The opponent had a fairly empty respawn, so it was tough for them too. Thanks for the game.
