No, I completely disagree with that. There was an idea to give everyone different resistances, but it didn't work out (for example, mages wouldn't have any resistances, while orcs would have all of them, and others would have different ones, for example, High Elves would have light resistance, Necromancers, Demons would have light resistance, Humans would have chaos and darkness resistance, Dark Elves would have darkness resistance, and so on in that vein).
