I didn't quite understand what you meant by "loading" and "clean slate." What would a "non-clean slate" be, and what should I do to trigger glitches? In any case, loading each save file using Alt+F4 can't make things worse. So, what should I do about Ghashra, esteemed bolotnik? Do you suggest waiting a month, building up an army, and hoping she attacks the Castle, or should I give up on her, sacrifice 30 Archangels, kill Jorge as quickly as possible, and move on? You can load save files whenever and however you want; it's not necessary to exit the game to avoid glitches. Just start the map from the beginning, i.e., launch the game, select the Paragon map, and start playing it from day one. Then, while playing this map and saving, you can reload as many times as you want without exiting the game.

If you want to see glitches, launch any map with many tents that the AI has access to. Play it for a while (almost to the end or even complete it), and then start playing Paragon without restarting the game. Then, there's a chance that the AI will have already visited the tents, and glitches might occur, such as Barbarians or someone else showing up to attack on the first month, or another AI going where it shouldn't.

Waiting and skipping turns is definitely not an option, so I would advise starting over
