Post-tournament analysis and discussion of the CIS Tournament Regulations.

Well, since everyone has already shared their thoughts, I'll add mine. Many have considerable experience participating in this annual tournament, but this is my first, so my post will be interesting from the perspective of subjective impressions due to the lack of a retrospective view from previous events, but with the caveat that it's still just my opinion. So, in short: there was too much alcohol at this event, and even more poker. However, none of this affected the level of play of the participants or their motivation to win. Believe me, I saw them all playing, and the contrast between what was around them and what they were doing in the game was even stronger. Despite the overall atmosphere in the hall, it doesn't reflect the actual situation in the games. I was amazed at how some people, who were engrossed in drinking and poker outside the game, demonstrated a high level of concentration while at their laptops, as long as they had a chance to play in the final. Yes, after that chance disappeared, many were no longer as dedicated to the game, but I'm telling all the armchair critics that if you're happy to comfort yourselves and justify your absence at the CIS tournament and your envy of those who participated, then your posts are the best proof of that. But the truth is that the level of play there is really high, and, most importantly, the level of motivation. The result confirms this, however you interpret it. Therefore, I'll end with a phrase I learned at the CIS tournament (in general, everything bad I see in myself, I think, comes from there): "The organization is crap, the organizers are crap," but the overall impression is still positive, both of the event and of the game itself. I don't really see the point of such a heated discussion between those who were there and those who weren't, except from the perspective of what impression the event makes on viewers. Therefore, the opinion from the other side of the screen is important only from this point of view for future organizers. (Hint: if you organize a house of entertainment next year, but present the right image, the result will be even better: both participants and non-participants will be happy:smile03: )
