In my time, I often organized various events that differed greatly in theme, format, and the level of guests. From personal experience, I can say that ANY themed event absolutely needs to be interspersed with some kind of show that is completely unrelated to the event's THEME, because people periodically need to take a break and clear their heads. You can't spend seven days sitting at a computer, and even drinking while at the computer. There are also barbecues, football, volleyball, and other activities. I understand that the core of this is the TOURNAMENT, but I repeat, it needs to be diversified. As for the content of Merlin's contests, this is naturally a topic for discussion. Not everyone can like everything, and this is true both in Minsk and in Volgograd. He had some great songs and some successful contests, but there were also contests that weren't very fun. But that's always been the case and will always be the case at all events; not every show can be an absolute hit!
