07.05.2016 mtork (Blue, Rampart, Kyrre, Kyrre) lose theShevanesian(Red, Stronghold, Gundula, Gundula) 8mm6a 136 Opp took 112, I took 111 and we were off. Thought about taking 111 on a played-out spawn, since I didn't see anything interesting on the first day, but there seemed to be plenty of money, the native town was close, so I played it. And I didn't regret it. On the respawn there were 2 external dwellings of elves, 2 external dwellings of dragons, 2 Griffin Conservatories and a beehive :smile02: but all off-road and far enough. With the scouting I also revealed the central village, where I saw a decent shield and another Griffin Conservatory, but getting there would take a long time and through snow. Another 1 Griffin Conservatory on the barbarian opponent's respawn, whom I killed at the end of the first week. Kyrre got Air and Armor. In the end, by the first week I only managed to capture both external dwellings of elves; I wanted to build bears, but didn't have enough money, and later there was always a money crunch, which is why I couldn't build dragon dwellings. On the 2nd I took both external dragon dwellings, both Griffin Conservatories (1+3), the beehive on 4; unfortunately, I lost an angel in a treasure zone. There were nearly 50 elves; with expert archery they dealt great damage. Meanwhile, reds appeared in the area revealed by the scout. Then, by the end of the week, I took the Griffin Conservatory on 2 on the opponent's respawn. Afterwards, I split the army; Kyrre with the angels ran to the center-swamp, while the rest of the army went with Valeska from the prison to the corner treasure zone. On 127, Gundula attacked Kyrre, killed 1 angel; I bought myself off. From that moment on, everything somehow went wrong :( Valeska reached the castle in the treasure zone, revealed a Griffin Conservatory and a Dragon Utopia. Not much money, but I needed to buy things to get into the Dragon Utopia :( So I lingered in that treasure zone for a very long time, even though I could have gathered everything in 2 days. On top of that, I lost almost all the elves. I checked the Dragon Utopia — it was a tier 2; Kyrre went in on 134, I think, with a zoo of woodies, thunderbirds, barbarian meat, 5 angels, 10 wyverns, and 3 dragons. Came out with 3 angels, but got a hat with level 5 spells. Sent Kyrre home to replenish mana. I thought about fleeing to the treasure zone off-road, but then I spotted that Gundula had sat in the castle without support. Decided to jump in and kill her. It worked; Gundula dropped gloves and boots. But then I was 1 move short of killing part of the army (wyverns + some other meat) on a necropolis. In the end, on 136 the opponent combined the army and caught me; there were 12 angels, 20+ wyverns, and some other miscellaneous stuff. I had 3 angels and 26 elves. I got meteor showered on all my main stacks, the opponent's angels wiped out mine, I typed GG. I should have bought myself off and fled to the treasure zone after all. Thanks for the game!
On the third week I got careless and left myself exposed with Gundula, even though I saw the opponent's scouting. So objectively a draw) Thanks for the game!
