It fits perfectly. The gods of Axoth are mages and warriors who rebelled against the Ancients and seized the Network in Axoth. HoMM4 and M&M9 were still with Van Caneghem.

Understand, this is not a matter of opinion. If the planet is called Earth, then your opinion doesn't change that. I have evidence that this world is not called Xeen:
1. There are no mentions that the world of M&M4-5 and the world of HoMM1-3 and M&M6-8 are the same worlds.
2. Warn 4 in Dragon Sands (why would Xeen need another Warn?).
3. Guardian Melian (why would Xeen need another Guardian?).
4. Mentions of the name Enroth as the world of M&M7.
And what evidence is there in favor of the fact that it is Xeen, other than in the walkthrough from Igromania, in which Korak is a mage, and the Ancients are from Kron?
