It finally dawned on me where I messed up.
I can't even count on the top spots anymore.

Well, no matter, we'll make it up in the next tasks. ;)

It is obvious that many of the "veterans" rushed to submit their final result, for which they will pay with their overall score. If this isn same as a school, then there are also rumors that experienced players have nothing to learn here—well, they certainly do.
I think we will eventually resolve the rating issue positively, and therefore such mistakes will strike a painful blow to... well, hit the vanity of many leaders via their ratings :). An indispensable school.
