We started with the very first generation.
I got Elves (6), and at the respawn I found external dwellings for dragons and wood. There’s a stable, 4 roads. Seems okay, though gold is a bit scarce, but there’s a market just in case.
On day 113, I break into the first treasure zone on the rocks, capture a village there. A couple of Pandora’s Boxes, a Dragon Fly Hive, and a Griffin Conservatory at home — all seems fine. Finally found the wood, upgraded the Elves.
On day 114, I scouted the area, captured the second village. There’s a Dragon Utopia in a corner. Killed the army of the swamp opponent.
On day 115, I took the swamp, urgently stealing gold wherever I can.
On day 117, I captured the external dragon dwelling, built 1-6 in the Stronghold. Not enough gold for buying. Kyrre has Expert Armorer and Basic Earth Magic from the stable.
On day 121, I bought a spellbook (with Slow) and broke into the second, underground treasure zone. There’s a Griffin Conservatory and a prison for 50+ growth of wood.
On day 122, I buy everything I can, fight for wood, but Expert Earth Magic isn’t offered. Nothing to do but enter the Griffin Conservatory with 23 Elves, 5 Dendroid Soldiers, 2 Dragons, 40 Centaurs, a few Dendroid Guards, and Troglodytes for tanking. The armor carries hard, the level 3 Conservatory falls easily, even some Centaurs survive. I occupy the village and build a Mage Guild there.
On day 123, in the same treasure zone, I grab the Dragon Fly Hive, get a Shield +3+3, send scouts further — and there’s a Tome of Earth Magic. I fight for it, the troops remain for Jager from the prison to claim the Crown +4, since with Knowledge 1 you can’t really fight much.
On day 124, Kyrie runs to the opponent’s respawn Conservatory, gets 3 Angels, portals to the well, while troops under Elshar take the home Conservatory. Also level 3. Meanwhile, a passage to the snow in the treasure zone is opened, and there’s a Conservatory with a Dragon Utopia.
On day 125, I take a second Dragon Fly Hive, totaling 10 Wyverns. I grab a village near the Dragon Utopia and portal there. The Conservatory turns out to be minimal level. And the Dragon Utopia is maximum level, eating everything except the Angels. They drop a Titan’s Gladiator, a Necklace of Swiftness, and two Water artifacts. Not bad. Especially since I manage to snag a Titan’s Cuirass nearby, though I lost a Unicorn and a Dragon guarding it.
On day 126, I also spot Wings. Jager collects them, Elshar portals to a recently captured underground village and grabs a Conservatory. +1 Angel, since one was lost to a Shield of Efreeti. Elshar also takes a Pandora’s Box for 10k experience, gaining Expert Logistics. A great second hero. Meanwhile, Kyrre captures a Dragon Utopia on the rocks that gives nothing, breaks through the swamp opponent into a treasure zone, but the treasure zone turns out to be mine, without roads. Oh well, a Necklace +3 All Stats doesn’t hurt.
On day 127, in this treasure zone, I free Valeska, take the village, send out scouts. 3 Dragon Fly Hives nearby. I need to grab them, which Elshar does. I get a whole 12 Wyverns. Kyrie wants to rush but doesn’t know where. Through a portal, I end up at the Conflux opponent’s place, take their Castle. Back home, I finished building Dragons and the Castle.
On day 131, from the Conflux player through a one-way portal, after plugging the wrong hole, I finally land in the opponent’s treasure zone. But there’s nothing there, I just run to the capital and capture it. I chase off a couple of enemy heroes in the area, portal home for the new growth.
Day 132 — I double my mana, then Elshar captures another Dragon Utopia in my treasure zone. It drops a Helm of Thunder. The opponent, within days (or even last turn), takes the orange AI’s town, so I decide to rush there with Kyrre. I capture a Necro-Castle, scout the area, chase off heroes. A portal leads to an enemy treasure zone, where I manage to grab both villages and kill a bunch of blue heroes. I discover that Elshar has Expert Air Scout, which I happily use. It turns out Clavius is almost cornered. I see him too; his stats aren’t higher than mine, and he has significantly fewer troops. Kyrie portals to the nearest village.
On day 133, Elshar captures another Dragon Utopia with a Shield +4 All. Kyrie tries to reach Clavius, but he jumped behind a wall. I capture a Dragon Utopia with a Red Orb, night in the underground capital.
On day 134, Kyrie grabs a village near Clavius, but still can’t reach the necromancer. I capture two Dragon Fly Hives and a Dragon Utopia with Elshar. I attack to test the waters. Not much mana, no Red Orb, 33 Wyverns and a few hundred Skeletons — that’s all I have. No Shackles of War either. So I calmly attack with Elshar. No Cloak of the Undead King either, Implosion instantly wipes out all the Wyverns — that’s the win.
