It turned out to be an interesting game. We played 8x8a; I took maybe 2 restarts, then the luck really kicked in—6 elves for Kyri and 5 for Loshok, totaling 18 grands on 112. They killed 25 gr ogres on the stones for a phoenix external dwelling, then broke through and captured 3 towns—2 villages and 1 comp... at the start of the second week, they turned in a quest artifact for 10k, which really helped the tempo, cleared the bird external dwelling and teleported them into the dungeon village... then went to clear the treasure room where on 125 I got all the land in Pandor and upgraded the land with Kirya. Then I prepared for the start of the 3rd week, and at the beginning of the 3rd, I cleared 3 Dragon Utopias; they were all good, but among the decent loot were a +6 all helmet and wings. Toward the end of the week, I upgraded the heroes and decided to go on the attack; I thought I'd scare Gurnisson, but he had no tactics and I killed him.
