First Impressions

I really liked it. In my opinion, it's one of the best games in the series. I'm too lazy to list the advantages; I'll just say that I liked everything, except for one thing – terrible optimization. I had to drop the game because one of the campaign missions wouldn't load.

And what exactly did you like about it? As for the game itself, it's pretty good overall. However, I can't shake the feeling of some kind of emptiness... By the way, I had the exact same feeling in the 6th installment. There are few spells, and very few interesting and diverse structures on the map. I didn't like the implementation of faction skills.
I'll finish with the mediocre unit animations and the highly questionable sound. The music of the factions, except for the Academy and both Elves, is tasteless and uninteresting. And the operatic singing becomes increasingly irritating, especially for the Undead. Just turn it off – it's that awful.
