imho, the only plus of HotA is the balance of the starting army, but on the other hand, the thrill of restarts is lost when you know exactly who will join you; the role of 2nd-level specialists in Castle, Fortress (though Dragon is a contender there too), and Citadel has increased, but Jebus on HotA is even more vicious than on SoD; not only does one get Griffins and another 2 Zealots, but also without artifacts for +morale and +leadership; breaking a ГО with a mixed army is a real pleasure; the same OH again, I think that top players are rather against it, because besides saving real time, it's a minus for the quality of the game; for example, I remember how Artem Cobra in our party in the OH tournament on Nostalgia compared it to StarCraft; what I'm getting at) there are more goodies in HotA, but there is no balanced map in fact either) rather the opposite, even more imbalance due to the larger number of caches and creature-creating objects)
