Took three restarts on 111, started as Kyrre and each time Ivor showed up, but there wasn’t a single archer in all three handouts. On the fourth handout, I decided not to risk it and chose Ivor as the starting hero, but the same story again. Saved the restart from my opponent. On the fifth generation, Ivor got 2 stacks. :smile43:
On the first week, I built Horn of the Abyss with some struggle; by the second week everything got better: I took 3 castles, 1 Griffin Conservatory, income was around 4k, the computer gave me a Dimension Door scroll  There were treasure zones in the snow, so I didn’t bother going there; I farmed Dragon Fly Hives and Pandora’s Boxes with Kyrre, who was already zooming around under stables and boots like crazy. The Pandora gave me all of level 4. The Necromancer on angel didn’t raise skeletons, but the necromancy was going kind of slow. By the 4th week, Kyrre was already moving at 4k movement, so I just ran along the road, took beehives, conservatories, saw my opponent, attacked, he bought himself off, the army advantage was already at least 2x. I only reached my opponent on the second month, decided to prepare: took a Dragon Utopia, placed 2 external angel dwellings near my castle.
Thanks for the game.
I fell for an external Minotaur dwelling and decided to portal them in. But as it turned out, there were 2 exits from the spawn point off-road deep inside the spawn. The only road was blocked by Basilisks. So to rebuild the castle, I went into a treasure zone (which turned out to be worthless), but at least I gathered enough gold. As a result, on the first week I also took an external Troglodyte dwelling and portaled in the Minotaurs. On the second week, I broke out of the spawn, but all the exits further on had inconvenient guards, except for the one leading to the pink computer. Actually, most of the exits to the computers were generated nearby. So while I was taking down the pink computer — CHAOS broke out! Computers started flooding in from every crack. I dashed from side to side killing them. One even managed to take my castle and buy back part of the growth. Before meeting my opponent, I also managed to take a Dragon Utopia, which gave me a Titan’s Thunder artifact. I unequipped the artifact to avoid being tracked, and then my opponent attacked. I had to buy myself off and hole up in the castle. My opponent roamed around for a long time, looking for me. In the end, I decided not to drag out the game and told him where I was, hoping he would kill me so we could finish. But my opponent, after running to me and taking a look, ran back. And the game dragged on even longer — I guess I shouldn’t have told him, since that’s how he acted. He attacked at the start of the next week after buying up all the power from his castles. I had no chance anyway against a logistician with tons of castles and Dimension Door + portal, and with that kind of growth on top. Overall, the odds were in my opponent’s favor, and I did everything I could. Thanks for the game. Good luck to my opponent and to all the guys in the tournament!
