The most epic part here wasn't the game itself, but the bidding and restarts. First, while bidding for the Miner, I profitably sold the Castle, and considering the tournament bonus, ended up with a red dungeon and +5400 gold. A level 80 Merchant :D. Then came, perhaps, the funniest restarts of my life. First draw: no one takes 111; on the second day, I don't find a single creature bank and take 112. In the next draw, I didn't risk taking 111, although aside from Galtran with 2 stacks who got Logistics, there was nothing worthwhile. Vitaliy also didn't take 111, and then didn't take 112 either. On my 113, I revealed my entire respawn, and it became quite bleak. A tiny respawn, not even decently farmable, no idea what to go into the center with. But then my opponent gives a mega-gift in the form of his papal 113. The saga didn't end there. In the following draw, the Miner gets 1 stack, but Mullich spawns, who immediately levels up to 6, and the mooks luckily take a box with 60 gr. troglodytes — they become 150+. Naturally I play, but Vitaliy has a block... Next draw — the Miner has only 1 stack again, and everything is bleak, I take the remaining 111. Finally, the next draw, the one we played: 3 stacks for the Miner, several external dwellings of troglodytes, a mini-Griffin Conservatory taken on 112, Gurney already on 111 leveled Expert Artillery from chests and on 112 easily took out 12 Monarchs for a chest of 10K experience with an angel. Got Earth, Logistics, Pathfinding. Mega-daddy overall. I went out 121 from a full clear, immediately took the central castle and Dragon Utopia. Then I completely cleared the center, ran for the home Dragon Utopia and waited for my opponent. As soon as he showed up, I crushed him with Bracers. Total advantage in power and especially stats. Thanks for the game!
p.s. I won't be able to play tomorrow, so the next round won't be before Monday.
The best was the first generation, then it seemed okay, but by 113 I scouted a bad block + very poor terrain spread, mountains everywhere... and since I had little gold, I decided to take 113, even though there were a couple of Griffin Conservatories and an external angel dwelling.
In the decisive draw, I squeezed everything out of the respawn, but didn't make it to the center in time. On the respawn, Hives with 34 ducks and only one mini-Griffin Conservatory. One Dragon Utopia was complete nonsense, the second was good, but by parameters I was losing.
Thanks for the game!
