While Saburo was wandering around the temple grounds, the abbot of the place returned.

Upon seeing the abbot, the samurai hastened to follow him, greeting him with a respectful bow.
-Good day, I am glad to see this place thriving. I am a traveler who recently arrived in the capital to visit the local Shaimeimaru temple and, perhaps, to learn something new from the local masters of Taoist art, because I am sure that the cultural and spiritual traditions of each temple in each country can undoubtedly offer something new and useful to the great branch of our craft.
