Rumke thanked the peasants again and walked away towards the road. It definitely wasn't worth lingering, but moving anywhere without a map would be foolish. There was bound to be another village or settlement along the road, and it would be a good place to get everything he needed. But what was certain was that he shouldn't enter Covellia via the road, which most likely led from the prison. It would be wiser to go around the capital and try to approach it from another direction. Or even wade through the water directly to the port, why not?
