Without internet access, I needed to find a way to use my free time. So, I rummaged through a huge number of boxes with discs, grabbed a collection of Asian films, and started watching. ISO It's awful. Darkness, confusion, and chaos, and fog, fog everywhere. And it's bloody fog. If you want to subject your mind to torture, you can watch it. Just for an experiment. You're unlikely to find other films like it. And that's a good thing. 1/10 House of Flying Daggers I didn't like the film. The idea is at best a three, and even that's a stretch. However, there is one "but." The plot is boring, and the characters don't make much of an impression, but the video and audio are more than good. The best part is the sudden snowfall in the final scene. 5/10 Hero The best of all the films listed in this post. An original idea in terms of storytelling + a decent plot + video and audio of an even higher level than in the previous film – it could have reached a ten with a plus, but there are many small flaws. Although, maybe only I perceived them as flaws; they won't cause any dislike in you. I recommend it to everyone without exception. I'm still listening to the soundtrack of this film now. 9/10 Twilight Samurai It's good. I don't even know what to write here. It was interesting to watch, but there's nothing to tell about it. Or maybe there's a lot to say, but the thoughts don't form into coherent sentences. 7/10 Many films about Shaolin If you're a fan of Eastern martial arts, then maybe it will be good. Otherwise, there's nothing interesting. All of them get a 3-4/10
