An early encounter with Tazar, who had a superior army and stats, in the second week near the pink compass forced me to retreat to the treasure room. There, I managed to accumulate an hour of time, troops, and control. After that, I built archers and launched an attack. I captured several cities and gained slightly better control of the map. However, attacking Tazar in his castle with my entire force was not possible until the opponent exposed his main hero in one of the cities, being unprepared for a frontal assault (without a significant portion of his army). I took advantage of this. In a long final battle, 15 archers, with several timely morale boosts and a bit of luck, won the battle. Thanks for the game!
He made a mistake, and he shouldn't have. My bad.
