You can take the sword from the Dancers of the Wind, increase its size, and repaint it to look like a yatagan.
You can take the shield from the Askari or remove it altogether.

By the way, the Askari actually have a yatagan, and it is more convenient for a mounted unit to wield than an elven sword!

The shield should be small and round, as a unit without a shield will look very strange with a slightly extended and bent arm at the elbow!

In principle, you can try to create it based on the skeleton and animation of the Black Knight (Death Knight) - it will have a yatagan + a round shield! It's an incredibly tedious, but feasible task!
