I think I know what you're talking about; I noticed it in my second playthrough and even found an explanation for it. And that "thing" is actually pretty cool.
I could even write a mini-article about it (with a description of the problem, ways to solve it, and conclusions), if anyone is interested in reading about this "THING" lol.
This is not just a "thing," but a feature of the game in Heroes 3. It is described in detail, and also illustrated in the physics of the Heroes world.
But, I think an article would be useful. I assure you, many people will be interested.
