Cheats for Heroes 4.

There's this weird thing happening with cheats. I revealed the entire map (nwcprometheus). I exited the game. When I load any save file, the map is still revealed. I delete the save file where I entered the code (I didn't save after entering the code), and the map is still revealed. If I enter the code again, the map becomes hidden. So, the question is: if I hide the map and load a save from a different file, will it be considered using cheats?
