Damien expressed a desire to visit the Temple of Arcadia, so the couple set off there. It wasn't that the boy was very religious, but it was to her that he turned in moments of despair and fear, back when he lived on the streets. Perhaps he felt towards her feelings similar to those that children feel towards their mothers. He didn't know his parents, he didn't have close friends either, only acquaintances from the street and some local residents who occasionally helped him with food or old clothes, and therefore she was closer to him than anyone else, despite her lack of a real form.
