This feels like some kind of farce; after all the deadlines have passed, they're scheduling tie-breakers. I think that with the last two instances of players deliberately delaying the deadlines, they should have been penalized with coins, as decided on this issue (or penalize the person who caused it). Stricter rules and deadlines are an indicator of a well-organized tournament; I hope the organizers will eventually understand this. You can only give leeway in the final stages of the playoffs.
The draw will be on Saturday. Due to the delay in the group stage, 3 weeks will be allocated for the first round's two games instead of the initially planned 4. The second round (in which the first-place teams from the groups start) will begin as planned.
As for myself, I've learned my lesson: I won't be running group stages in this format again. It's better to have a 2-week deadline for one game, then record the results and hold the draw for the second round, as is done in OFB.
