The problem is this: the program should buy a hero in the tavern. If the next hero is not the one it needs, it loads the save and repeats the process. Is that right? But mine stubbornly ends the turn. It just presses the "end turn" button and that's it.
I have the same issue, and I haven't found any newer versions.
