I made a mistake with the bidding; it's been a while since I played under these conditions. I didn't notice that the castles had been generated; I thought the bidding was for choosing after the initial selection. I told my opponent this immediately after the bid, when I realized that the castles had been generated because giving up a Tower for a Castle for such a small difference was obviously a bad deal, and I told him this and offered a fair trade. But he stubbornly refused, and that's why he got the treatment he deserved.
