It's high time to schedule all group stages. The abstract timeframe of "2 weeks per game," where one player plays one game, while the other might play all their games, only prolongs the group stage. Moreover, those who don't play their games quickly might end up arranging draws that suit them in the tournament standings. Such shenanigans happened, for example, in Favorites-6. It's much more convenient to create a schedule with one specific game in the group between player A and B, and C and D, lasting for 2 weeks. After two weeks, a new schedule is created for the next round. This way, you can penalize those who play poorly, and if there are, for example, 5 rounds in the group, the group stage will take 10 weeks without any extensions. Otherwise, in almost all tournaments with groups, the group stage has to be extended.
That's why the good system in FB works well, where everything is played according to a schedule, and it's forbidden to post results early. And the sporting principle is maintained until the very last rounds! But group schemes in their current form are outdated, and I suggest that the organizers think about this.
