Sacred Haven of Debauchery

This is what I don't understand about school. Some of us pay thousands and thousands of dollars to attend these schools. We pay these teachers with our family's money. Yet, they punish us for something so small, like listening to music during break or texting our parents or friends. Aren't school teachers hypocritical? They also listen to music and text their families. It's just that, because we pay them thousands of dollars, they feel they're superior to us. I understand that there's something called discipline, but are we paying them to punish us? I'd rather pay bullies to hit me, TBH, than get punished for something stupid like listening to music or playing computer games during break. Should teachers even be paid for this? Let's be honest, we all have that one teacher in school or college that we hate. Why should we pay these teachers to yell at us and take our phones away, when they're supposed to be working for us? Would you let your boss take your phone away or punish you for listening to music? Without us, the students, would school teachers even have a job? At the end of the day, school teachers work because of us, so does that give them the right to set rules and control our lives?
