On the Hugo website, in the latest news, they stated that "Now we can confidently say that the maps will be multiplayer, but you can also play them in single-player mode against the computer."

So, this is very encouraging. Essentially, it's almost like a demo. It's a pity that, according to UbiSoft, they won't include all the features, although who knows, maybe that's for the best. I will definitely buy a licensed version no matter what;)

The only problem is that downloading the beta will be difficult, as it's about 1.5 GB.
