Do you mean 4 monks against 4 knights? I've played with 8 vs. 8, 4 vs. 4, and even 400 vs. 400. The knights win. Now I'll try adding a small army to each side.

You misunderstood. The monk growth rate is 6, while the knight growth rate is 5 (in version 3.0, and in version 3.51 it's 6 per week). But in terms of tactics, knights will crush everyone:D
