Tough start, no money, then taking over a Fortress AI's territory helped smooth things along. I also found some money scattered in the desert, so by the end of the week, I had wyverns + a citadel, and pit fiends without a citadel. At 117, I took the orange AI's town as well. 123. Minimum cons, took boots in my starting area, then a Hive (blocked by 42 monks with an up-stack, WTF), lost some pits here but survived, then the opponent showed up through a one-way portal. I couldn't see his army, but judging from his stats (pyre 4 4 3 2), I assumed he wasn't strong.
