Generally, this is my favorite campaign because of the huge map and the one-on-one battles! You start from scratch, developing Maahir, and then all the opponents run away from you!!!! All of them are Necromancers! You collect the 4 artifacts of Sar-Issus without any problems!!!;) Phoenix666;41767
It's so strange, a difficult scenario, perhaps the most difficult, and there's nothing about it in the walkthroughs. I played all day, there was no logistics, I leveled up the hero to level 15, and then I had to run around saving, looking for the Necromancer before he raised thousands of skeletons))) I only upgraded Gremlins and Mages. I regretted it a lot and cried into my pillow. So, I found the villain in the tavern, he was weak, but I only killed about two-thirds of his army (damn ghosts, liches, zombies). So, what and how should I replay it?
Added after 58 seconds without Astral, it's completely impossible.
Regarding Warriors, the strongest (and my favorite) units for Mage heroes are: Archmages, Four-Armed Rakshasa Rajas, and Master Djinns!!! THAT'S IT!!! 40-50 Rakshasas and you are the king!!!!;) ;) ;)
