HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

For the past month or two, I've been getting this message: "Unfortunately, your version #4.0 is not compatible with the server version #3.2HW.1.36. You cannot connect." And it's specifically version 1.36. This happens when I launch the game; for a few seconds, the loading screens appear, and then this window pops up with an OK button. I downloaded two builds from Heroes3TV (one clean build – I installed HD Mod 4.1 RC6 (dc75f63696eb67bf3b4d535499e080a1 *HoMM3 HD Latest4.1006.exe), and one with HD Mod already installed – I updated it using the auto-update feature; in both, I added HWRules 1.38). The result is the same. The game connects normally without HWR, and I re-downloaded HWR 1.38 from the website – it's not corrupted. The only thing I changed during the launch, installation, and update process was the renderer type to 32bit true (I also tried other options). Hamachi TV doesn't make a difference. Two local copies of the game connect to each other normally. *But there are no HWR settings, meaning it's not actually connecting.
