Favorites, to battle! - 8 - The Battle of Favorites! - 8
We took a restart on 112, after which I started playing thanks to 9 elves from the start and capturing a town on 111. However, gold turned out to be a bottleneck. I barely managed to dig up two thousand, but finished the week with 4 heroes and wood with pegasi in the fort. I captured one mine for 50 gr. harpies. I moved to a secondary hero along the wasteland (the only road was blocked by 10+ liches). On 121 I captured Conflux. Ivor attacked the vampires guarding Pandora's Box without reinforcements. Quite risky, but it paid off. I got 15 storm elementals. On 122 I brought the growth, killed the pegasi for a 2nd level spell. Then the opponent shows up. Nothing to do but split up and attack. There — 28 gogs, 4 efreets, and 100+ imps. Arlak at 3rd level, no mana. I have — 15 storms, 20 elves, 10 pegasi, 5 dendroids, and 35 centaurs. Ivor with expert archery and mana for 1 Slow on the efreets (3 rounds). In short, I slowed them and shot everything down without trouble, especially since the battle was on grass. Thank you for the game!
started off briskly, at times it felt like I was playing Jebus Cross when it came to gold, but due to a lack of mercury (and I only needed 3) I had to build markets — leaving me without a castle. empty zones, and along the wasteland there were gr. pits on lava — I didn't go for it. nothing interesting, there was nowhere special to level Arlach, and I only bought him on 116. imagine my surprise when the opponent attacked me with storm elementals (which he captured with a FIRST-WEEK growth) on grass! (i.e., grand elves and storms at 9 speed). it gave me the impression that even if I had a 3-week growth, I would still have lost that battle. oh well, in this game the scales tipped way too far in one direction. thanks for the game!
