He gave me a Phoenix and a Conflux with 5 Angels. I logged out a bit later, but I had more machines. And after a short escape to a neighboring respawn point, Lucky surrendered.

I probably didn't play very well here. After two empty boxes in a row at the respawn point, I got a bit flustered and made a few mistakes with my father's movements, which prevented me from getting the Pandora's Box with Blindness later and killing 50+ bears, where I could have gotten the meat I desperately needed.
