To build a new theory, one must first ensure that it explains the facts known at the present time (as described by the old theory), and also explains the facts that are known but lie beyond the scope of the existing theory.

The problem is that the root cause of observed facts may turn out to be something completely different than we think. History proves this.:smile26:
Special and General Relativity may explain many things, but they also prohibit traveling faster than light. What if they are not correct, but simply mathematically explain "observed phenomena"?

Just theories, but no practice.

The practical application would be to accelerate to the speed of light, fly to the Andromeda Galaxy, and upon returning, see what century it is on Earth.:D
But this is advice of the same level as 2500 years ago, suggesting flying a quarter of the Earth's meridian to verify, for example, the theory of the "Central Fire."...
