Should we expect a rework?

In its current form, as implemented in HWrulez, no. This is because the Hota Crew believes that this mechanic is too artificial, and that changing already established spells contradicts the ideology of Heroes.

Alternative ways to increase the chances of obtaining control are being discussed.

The main directions of thought are either additional sources of spells (jars with spells/scrolls, a market for spells/scrolls, quests for spells/scrolls, an external GM on the map, etc.) or some options on the theme of "ordering" the desired spell for money/resources.

The limitations are that control should not appear too early, ideally around week 3, with some luck around week 2, and almost never in week 1.
