I actually have a statistics file for 8mm6a, 100 generations analyzed, with the following results:

SoD:
Griffin Conservatories - 17.35
Dragon Fly Hives - 29.37

HotA:
Griffin Conservatories - 15.49 (89% of SoD)
Dragon Fly Hives - 24.9 (85% of SoD)

This is for HotA version 1.3.4; since then the number of new objects has increased slightly, but only slightly.

Jebus Cross wasn't analyzed, but I think the picture there is roughly the same.

And taking into account Workshops and Zeppelin Huts (their frequencies were adjusted for rough parity with Griffin Conservatories and Dragon Fly Hives), the total volume of canned meat is 50-70% higher than in SoD.

But in any case, players are on equal footing; nobody promised the ability to break through the ГО on day 122 from any starting position. Cobra, for example, reached day 132 as mentioned above.
