Yes, I guess you could say that.

These ones seem to be normal, not pink. Although I haven't seen them in stores (only in cafes), I always carefully examine the packaging before buying anything, just in case.

They just dyed them.

My job is to warn you. Otherwise, you might end up in Southeast Asia and not know what looks like European food and what doesn't. :)

I didn't listen to the wise advice.

It's just very hot here, so they "pickle" the eggs to prevent them from spoiling. Fortunately, with the spread of refrigerators, this is no longer necessary.
