You need to go into the shortcut properties and set it to "run as administrator." To be more precise, this is one of the methods I usually use. Also, check the compatibility settings there.

I tried running it as administrator, but nothing changed. I also set the compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 3), but it's still the same. However, you mentioned Cyrillic characters. So, when I went into the properties, I noticed something (which is strange) that wasn't written in other places. Here's the location: C:\Users[B]maxim[/B]\Desktop\Heroes\Heroes of Might & Magic V Gold Edition\bin. But the problem is that the "maxim" folder is personal. So, the question is: HOW do I rename it? If it takes too long to explain or you don't know, please provide a link.
