I can only interpret your words as the ravings of a madman. So, I've played around 2,000+ games where nothing like this ever happened, and now I'm suddenly panicking and mashing the mouse button.

Are you saying that in the video, you were calm, your actions were precise, well-thought-out, and calculated?
The nervousness and panic in your actions, resulting from fatigue, led to the outcome you see. This is clearly confirmed by the stream video.
Or do you have other explanations for all the actions in the last few turns?
Then why do you think you couldn't have made just one more "mistake"?

There were quite a few mistakes made, which you would never have allowed in a normal state. I don't want to discuss this here until the game is finished, so as not to reveal any "secrets."

Regarding "nothing like this has ever happened" - I can say that the algorithm for clicking icons in the game hasn't changed in the last 19 years.
