Here's what the tournament rules state:

- Games are played until 2 team victories; the losing team is eliminated from the tournament.

- In the final, teams play until 3 team victories.

- Additional rule for decisive playoff games:

If the score is 1-1 (or 2-2 in the final), the deciding factor is the points scored by the captain. If the captains also have the same number of points, a decisive match is played between them. The player whose team is marked in blue in the playoff table starts with the black pieces, and after the initial setup, they also start with the blue pieces in the game. After each subjective restart, the colors are switched.

I reread the regulations, and it can indeed be interpreted in different ways. But it seems that the intention was as follows: the teams play two games. If the team score is 1-1, a third game is played (for some reason, with a setup). If the third game is a draw (i.e., the team score is 1.5:1.5), the deciding factor is the head-to-head record of the captains, and it would take a lot of effort to achieve a draw here. And in the worst case, the captains play a decisive match. In my opinion, this is not the worst additional criterion in such a situation. The tournament is, of course, a team event, but the captain should be ready to take responsibility for the entire team if necessary.

I would like to ask the organizers to respond in the thread to confirm whether I have understood everything correctly, because this is not explicitly stated in the regulations.
