So, if there are 10 draws with a score of 2-2, do you have to play an 11th game? Let's do it differently: if there's no winner after 3 matches, the captains play a winner-takes-all game (you can substitute your own fighter instead of yourself).

I feel compelled to speak up. I have absolutely no intention of INSULTING or OFFENDING the tournament organizers!

Here's what the tournament rules state:

- Games are played until one team wins 2 matches; the losing team is eliminated from the tournament.

- In the final, teams play until one team wins 3 matches.

- Addition for decisive playoff games:

If the score is 1-1 (or 2-2 in the final), the points scored by the captain are decisive. If the captains also have the same number of points, a decisive match is played between them. The player whose team is marked in blue in the playoff table starts with the black pieces, and after the initial setup, they also start with the black pieces in the game. After each subjective restart, the colors are switched.

I agree with Satyr; that is, all drawn games (with the current 4 players, a score of 2-2 is not uncommon) before the score becomes either 1-1 or 2-2 (for the final) are simply considered as games that did not take place. Perhaps this is not entirely correct. Although chess had similar rules, many probably remember the Karpov-Kasparov match, which never ended.

Since the playoff games haven't really started yet, I suggest changing the wording of the victory condition in the playoffs.

For example, - up to the final, teams play a maximum of 3 games, and the team that wins 2 games becomes the winner, or if neither team manages to do so, the team that scores the most points in these three games wins. In case of a tie in points, the team with the best result on the 1st board wins; if there is a tie there, then on the 2nd, and if there is a tie there too, then on the 3rd. In case of a tie in points on all boards (a very unlikely scenario), you can either have an additional match between the teams or between the captains.

In the final, it's the same, but with 5 games and a best-of-3 victory; everything else is the same.
