Yes, I read the backstory. But in reality, it has almost no relation to the actual game "Heroes of Might and Magic 1-2-3." Here, you launch Heroes. You see a fairytale land. You see dragons, elves, dwarves, knights, mountains, rivers, castles... You feel the fairytale. The picture in an ornate frame (by the way, Tolkien wrote about this – the picture in a fairytale should be in a carefully drawn frame – just like in "Heroes"). You DON'T SEE any alien robots, gods, Ancients, Formless Ones, you DON'T SEE interplanetary ships – and thank the One that you don't! They have no place in a fairytale. A fairytale should be a fairytale.
