“Two Seasons: Winter-Spring 2016” Tournament. Online games for rating (reports, discussions).
The opponent buys the choice of a castle from a pair of Stronghold-Conflux for 3000 and an additional 500 for color, the extra gold gives a good opportunity to expand. As a result, a fairly well-played first week: by week 1, day 1,7 buildings are constructed in the castle, 4 neutral dwellings are captured, and income is 3350 gold. There is a clear plan for the second week: capture 3 wolf pickets, then the Griffin Conservatory and a +12 shield. On day 123, capture the opponent's Tower town, then capture the opponent's castle... and return to the pickets and the Griffin Conservatory. On day 126, I catch up with the opponent's Moneer, he has +1 speed, but no gold for ransom... I cut down a third of the army with Mass Haste, a ransom follows (1 Angel and 6 Cyclopes), and on day 131, with a mega misclick on Tactics while breaking Gunnar, I press "Start Battle" instead of "Surrender". The main hero with all artifacts is lost :-) Luckily, on his turn, the opponent surrenders, having the Blue Cap and +6 All Helm. Thanks for the game.
Even considering the opponent losing his main hero, there was no chance of victory. Thanks for the game!
