I decided that I was out of the running and would likely not be in first place. I decided to try out a couple of unpopular strategies that I had abandoned playing with some time ago. On turn 122, I defeated 70 Rogues and moved to Monolith from the other side with 15 Greater Hydras. For some reason, I spared my defensive units and attacked without Earth magic. I emerged with 11 Elves, but I quickly built up a few Bone Dragon lairs and generally controlled the enemy's access to the Treasury. Kairie leveled up well. But on turn 132, with reinforcements, I decided to save resources again and attacked with a not-so-well-developed Tazar on Growth, against 140 Pegasi. My elite troops were not enough. The opponent didn't show himself, and theoretically, I could have continued playing and slowly cleared out the Treasury, but I decided it wasn't worth it and conceded the victory!
